For public safety PWS advise the following sites have now been closed until further notice due to the threat of fire:



  • Hastings Caves and Thermal Pools

  • Echo Sugarloaf State Reserve
    - Echo Sugarloaf Track

  • Snug Tiers Nature Recreation Area
    - Snug Falls Track
    - Pelverata Falls Track


Staff will assess the situation tomorrow (Monday 28 January) and a decision will be made about access to the sites in due course.
