Hastings Experience - Guided Cave Tour Information

Important information:  Wednesday, 17 April Thursday and 18, 29 and 30 April 2019 - Please arrive at the Hastings Visitor Centre at least 45 - 60 minutes before the advertised tour time. After ticket purchase you will need to travel by commuter bus due to roadworks on the Hastings Caves Road. The bus will depart from the Visitor Centre carpark at 10:45; 11:45; 12:45; 1:45; 2:45. NOTE: Cave ticket sales will cut-off at 10:40; 11:40; 12:40; 1:40 and 2:40

From 1 May to 10 May 2019 – Please arrive at the Hastings Visitor Centre at least 45 – 60 minutes before the advertised tour time.  After ticket purchase you will need to travel by commuter bus due to roadworks on the Hastings Caves Road.  The bus will depart from the Visitor Centre carpark at 11.00; 12.00; 1.45; 2.45.   Note: Cave ticket sales will cut off at 10:50; 11:50; 1.40 and 2.40

Hastings is open every day over the Easter/Anzac Day period 10 am to 4 pm with cave tours 11.15; 12.15; 1.15; 2.15; 3.15. The commuter bus will not run between 19 and 28 April 2019

Please purchase your tickets for cave tours at the Visitor Centre on arrival at Hastings. Cave tour tickets include complimentary pool entry, access to electric BBQs, walks and facilities. The cave tour takes approximately 45 minutes, this excludes self drive travel time to and from the cave which can take 20 minutes each way.

Tour Times and Opening Times 

Important information: Please arrive at the Visitor Centre at least 30 minutes before the advertised tour time. After ticket purchase there is a further drive of 5kms and a 5 minute walk to the cave entrance where your guide will meet you. The travel to the cave is undertaken in your own vehicle and you need to allow 20 minutes travel each way.

Thermal Springs Entry Only

Includes the use of the thermal spring pool and its facilities all day. These facilities include the pool, change rooms and hot showers, free electric barbeques, barbeque tables, picnic shelters, 10 minute platypus walk and 30 minute hot springs forest walk.
