Ross Female Factory

Access

The Ross Female Factory Historical Site is located in the town of Ross, just off the Midlands Highway (A1) which runs between Hobart and Launceston. The site is on the corner of Bond and Portugal Streets. The Ross Heritage Trail runs past the site.

Although little remains above ground of the Factory itself, a museum is housed in the cottage which was once used to house the Overseer.
