Mt Direction Historic Site

Access

Mount Direction Historic Site is located about 25km north of Launceston, on the east bank of the Tamar River.

From Launceston, take the East Tamar Highway (A8) and then turn onto Dalrymple Road (C809).  You will need to walk to the summit - it is a relatively short walk of about 1.5 km which takes about 30 minutes.
