Ben Lomond is the major downhill skiing destination in Tasmania. The ski field offers all necessary facilities to ensure you have a memorable experience. There are six ski lifts on the downhill slopes (three T-Bars and three Poma lifts). There is ski, snowboard and toboggan hire, as well as instruction and sales and a kiosk at the alpine village. Mount Field National Park is home to Tasmania's main skiing destination in the south. There are three tows at Mount Field, two on the slopes of Mount Mawson and one on the slopes of the Rodway Range. Mount Field also offers fantastic cross country skiing opportunities.
