How do I book to walk the Overland Track?
If you would like to book or reschedule your trip or have any other queries about the Overland Track, see the Overland Track web pages. If you need assistance with a booking for the Overland Track, please email the administrator at overlandtrackadministrator@parks.tas.gov.au

Can I take my dog with me?

As is true of most national parks across Australia and the world, dogs and other pets are not allowed into Tasmania's national parks and nature reserves, not even on a lead or within your car. There are, however, many State Reserves, Conservation Areas, Regional Reserves and Nature Recreation Areas and other reserves where dogs are welcome. See our page on Dogs and other pets in national parks and reserves for details.

I have an enquiry about wildlife or animal management. Who do I contact?

For enquiries about wildlife on your property or animal management, email wildlife.reception@dpipwe.tas.gov.au

Where can I get information about planning my holiday around Tasmania?
Please contact the Hobart Travel Centre for general information about tours, activities and accommodation in Tasmania.
If you have an enquiry about a specific national park or reserve, contact the nearest Parks and Wildlife office location. For example if it’s an enquiry about Cradle Mt, use the Cradle Mt email address to get in touch with staff. See our Office locations and contacts.

Where can I get information on camping in Tasmania National Parks and Reserves?

How do I get to a particular national park or reserve?
