Friends Groups and local volunteers. Are you interested in supporting a particular National Park or Reserve? Or getting involved in one of the many volunteer programs undertaken by local volunteers? Check out the Friends groups, projects and programs offered through WILDCARE Inc, our local volunteer management partner
Other Volunteer Partners. There are many community organizations who provide volunteer assistance to managing Tasmania’s National Parks and Reserves. Check out the Partner Volunteer Organisations Register – there is bound to be a community group to suit you.
Becoming a Partner Volunteer Organisation. Would you like to register your group as a Parks and Wildlife Service Partner Volunteer Organisation? If so, simply complete the on line Partner Volunteer Organisation Registration Form (PDF 131Kb) and you will be included on the Register, we will contact you when there are volunteer projects related to the interests of your group and we will refer potential members to you. If you would like other volunteers to come and lend a hand we will also post on our Calendar of Volunteer Events information about volunteer projects you are undertaking on reserved land.
