Summer 2007-2008 – Campground Host Program. Volunteers required for various locations around the state (Waterfall valley, Schouten Island, Cockle Creek, Melaleuca) Generally 2 week periods in PWS provided accommodation. Contact Craig Saunders on 03-62648463 or Craig.Saunders@parks.tas.gov.au
All this month - Volunteer with the Devil Facial Tumour Disease Project Team. The team is surveying wild devil populations around the state. Trips are usually 10-11 days in the field with all transport and accommodation provided. Tuesday 19 February - Friends of Coningham Nature Recreation Area. Join John and Jean and friends in a variety of native vegetation management activities at this reserve 30 minutes south of Hobart. Contact Jean Taylor 6267 4870.
