Road access map to Governor Island

Governor Island is a well known landmark of Bicheno, a fishing resort village on Tasmania's East Coast. Bicheno is approximately 3 hours drive from both Hobart and Launceston. From Hobart, take the A3 north to Bicheno. The most direct route from Launceston is via the Midlands Highway (A1) and the A4 to St Marys, then south along the A3.
