National Parks Passes

Tasmanian National Parks Entry Fees

Current park passes must be purchased for entry to Tasmania's national parks. (Fees do not apply to other reserves). For visitors to the State, the "Holiday Pass" (see below) provides entry to all our national parks for up to two months. These are available from:

Persons wishing to obtain annual park passes only may complete the annual pass application form (PDF 102Kb).

Educational Group Exemptions

Educational groups may be issued an exemption following prior application to the Senior Ranger provided the school excursion is for educational purposes. Educational Group Exemption forms (PDF 72 Kb) are available for download. The completed form must be faxed to the park centre you wish to visit - see contact list. Please note that for visits to Cradle Mountain a shuttle bus fee will apply. 

The money raised from park fees goes directly towards the upkeep of your parks and reserves. It is used to maintain and upgrade visitor facilities, walking tracks and information booths. (Full details of current projects funded by park fees)
