Lake Dobson Road now open

The Lake Dobson Road at Mt Field National Park, closed after a landslip late last month, reopened for traffic on Thursday, 26 October.

Repairs to the road took longer than expected because of wet weather and limited space for trucks to operate.

As well, special care had to be taken during remedial work because the road is in an environmentally sensitive area.

The Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources thanks the public for its patience during repair work.
