Lake Dobson Road closure update

The Lake Dobson Road at the Mt Field National Park will remain closed for at least another week.

The road has been closed because of a landslip late last month.

Repairs to the road are progressing as quickly as possible, but have been delayed by recent wet weather and limited space for trucks to operate.

Because of safety concerns surrounding the frequent movement of large
trucks up and down the road, the road will remain closed at the bottom gate until repair work is completed.

Special care is being taken during remedial work because the road is in an environmentally sensitive area.
