Northwest Region

The Northwestern Region includes the Southwest Conservation Area in the far southwest, the entire West Coast of Tasmania and its offshore islands in the northeast. The region extends to Devonport in the east and Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park in the south.

Major reserves of the Northwestern Region include the Arthur-Pieman Conservation Area, Savage River National Park, Rocky Cape National Park and Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. The region also manages conservation areas, state and regional reserves, historic sites and nature reserves.
