Southern Region

The Southern Region includes the southern half of Tasmania, from Swansea on the east coast to the southern part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area on the West Coast.

The region also includes The Southwest National Park, Hartz Mountains, a large proportion of the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park, Maria Island, South Bruny Island, Mt Field and Tasman national parks. It also includes the Macquarie Island Nature Reserve and World Heritage Area.
