Tinderbox Marine Reserve - Plan of Tinderbox Marine Reserve

  • This plan specifies the extent of the nature reserve. 
  • The blue-shaded marine area is both nature reserve under Section 3 of the Nature Conservation Act 2002 and marine nature reserve under Rule 3 of the Fisheries Rules 1999.
  • Coordinates in this plan are based on the GDA94 datum (Geocentric Datum of Australia 1994).
  • This marine nature reserve is entirely “No Take”.  Fishing is not permitted.
  • All mammals, birds, reptiles and plants are protected.
  • On-site foreshore marker posts indicate the western and eastern ends of the reserve.
